ESS Wind Power Inc. was founded in Moscow (Russian Federation, TM "RuWind®") in September 2006 with the purpose of supplying people with the knowledge and tools necessary to generate ecologically friendly electricity through the use of wind turbines.

Recognizing the needs of the small wind market, ESS Ltd has directed its creative expertise to developing wind generators for homeowners, farmers, manufacturers and business proprietors who are looking for a cost-effective and environmentally friendly energy source.

With dealers spread over 2 continents and 12 countries,  has developed a unique Internet-based control, audit and monitoring system linking its wind turbines world-wide and providing up-to-the-minute data for its clients. ESS Ltd s proprietary Wind Management System software (WMS) uses sophisticated programming to properly manage a wind turbine's behaviour in various wind conditions and to help ensure the most efficient energy production.
